I would definitely recommend this hotel. Friendly staff. Great location.

The bed and pillows were extra comfortable. The room was really big and spacious. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, we had a good rest at night. The pool is by the lake, perfect view, comfortable outdoor chairs.

We returned at 5 pm and had to request room service.

El peor lugar, sucio, caro y mal atendido.

It was the worst place I've ever been. I sent you already a complain about it and you didn't respond. The staff at the hotel gave me a room not ready, no sheets, no nothing , then let me waiting for an answer for 30' at the room with my laugage then because I asked for a solution , they sent me to another room where someone else left minutes before , then they use the same sheets and didn't change it and also was again everything dirty . I got to wait for another 40' then they realized better to change the bedding at the room. I tried but I could't find another place to spend the night. The staff very impolite , very unprofetional, a very bad experience, and booking recommended this place . What's your reponsablility on this? How do you reward people like me that trust in you ?

They do not have a shuttle service as it is said in their description

The room was very big and the breakfast was good

We wanted to stay near the airport because we arrived from Punta del Este, we already visited Montevideo and the next morning we had a plane. We chose this hotel because it said he had a shuttle service. But when we arrive at the airport we found out they did not have a shuttle so we had to take a taxi which was very expensive. We were not happy with the inaccuracy

Location was great, room well illuminated ,staff super friendly, room was clean , bathroom could use more detailed cleaning specially the shower curtain. They need to fix their address for the GPS otherwise GPS will take somewhere else in the city

We asked for bath towels, they did not provide soap every day, their is no TV Guide on the room specially for people who don’t speak Spanish , is not our case but it could be anyone’s case. They did not changed the pillow case on a daily basis, they don’t have any vending machines to supply some kind of pop or water , if you need a drink you must drive to the near gas station and make sure you have debit card during night time .

Gorgeous setting, ample room with a clean and serene atmosphere.

I have never stayed in a hotel in Uruguay with the quality of accomodations i found at Hotel del Lago. The view to the pool and lake was striking.

Coming from the east at night, it was hard to see and find the entrance road to the hotel, i wish you could put a sign. We missed the entrance twice!!

Good cost benefit and convenient hotel location if you want to stay near the airport. I was given a upgrade and stayed in a room with an incredible view from the lake.

Amazing value for money! The room was just perfect, the infinity pool is awesome and the service is great. We felt like kings and queens Also it's right next to the airport and that's what we needed (and why we chose it)

It can be a little isolated if you are looking to get to know Montevideo. Still awesome

Room and swimming pool ok. Provincial reception staff , restaurant not recommendable

Room size, two big beds, location on the lake, the friendly night porter who could speak English and made us some coffee at 5 am in the morning and apoligised for his collegues (reception staff) who had not passed the order for a packed breakfast. The taxi came on time to take us to our early flight.

Rather unfriendly nearly rude receptionists, hardly spoke any English - in an hotel which belongs to an international group, no help offered when we arrived by car with our heavy cases, an early breakfast box was offered and coffee for quarter to five, the night porter did not know anything about it. The restaurant has a poor menu, very basic without any comfort or atmosphere, in one corner was a perfumed air blowing machine, for a convention center a very strange and poor setup. Paying for the meal by credit card caused a huge confusion. It was not possible to get the VAT refund as in all other restaurants in Uruguay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful considering it was a racing visit. They were able to accomodate our need for an extremely early breakfast as we stayed one night and had to be back at the airport by 4:30 in the morning. Overall we really enjoyed our quick stop!
